Feel-Good Alert! Hero Koda saves family’s lives from fire..then students donation saves his.

Get ready for a dose of heartwarming goodness!💗 Meet Koda, the 90-pound Great Pyrenees-Lab mix with a heart as big is his paws, who went from being the life of the barbecue to a furry hero in the middle of the night.

When a dark twist of fate set their house ablaze, Koda's amazing instincts kicked in, and his heroic barks alerted his owners, Steve and Jen, to the danger. They got out safely but there was no sign of Koda!

As the flames engulfed their home, Steve went back in but the smoke pushed him back out. Koda's fate hung in the balance.

Picture this: flames, a brave dog, and two firefighter/paramedics armed with a unique gift from thoughtful high school students. Three years ago, the students at Brookfield Central High School's Promoting Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) raised funds and donated life-saving pet oxygen masks to their local fire department. Fast forward to the fateful night, and these masks become Koda's ticket to a second chance at life. 🦸‍♂️🐾.
