🌟Why is it sometimes our pooches sound like a truck engine when they are sleeping.

Is It Normal that Dogs Snore. Yes, occasional snoring is normal for dogs, just like us dog parents.

Common Causes of Dog Snoring. Factors like:

• Breed-specific anatomy (think French Bulldogs & Pugs)

• Obesity,

• Allergies

• Respiratory infections

All can contribute to add those adorable yet noisy ZZZs.

How to Stop Your Dog From Snoring. Tips for a peaceful sleep include:

• Weight management

• Protecting against infections

• Controlling air quality

• Adjusting sleeping positions (we find a gentle nudge helps 😁)

If your pup's snoring is more of a nightmare than a cute quirk, or your pup seems uncomfortable or blocked up it might be time to consult your vet.

A well-rested dog is a happy pup, as a well rested dog parent is a happy dog parent! 🐶💤

🌍DIY anti-inflammatory dog treats🍪

There’s a lot of talk about how good anti-inflammatory foods are for us dog parents.

Well it’s the same for our pups.

So why not whip up some of these easy DIY anti-inflammatory dog treats.🤗

Ingredients:

• 3 cups instant quick oats

• 1 tablespoon ground flaxseeds

• ½ teaspoon turmeric

• Pinch black pepper

• ¾ cup water

• 1 large egg

Directions:

• Line an oven proof tray with baking paper

• Set the oven heat to 350F (180C)

• In a mixing bowl combine all of the dry ingredients

• Add the egg & water, & mix all ingredients together

• Hand kneed the dough then let sit for 15 minutes to allow the oats to absorb moisture

• Roll the dough in baking paper with a rolling pin to desired thickness (1/4 inch (1cm) optional)

• Stamp out the treats with a biscuit cutter

• Bake in the preheated oven for about 30 minutes or until cooked through

• Remove from the oven & onto a wire rack to cool
