Heartwarming victory: Therapy dog Quinn beats cancer, rings survivor bell
🐾 We all love happy endings! Meet Quinn, the incredible therapy dog from Randolph Health in North Carolina, who has just triumphed over cancer.
Quinn's journey, from diagnosis to chemotherapy to remission, is a testament to resilience and dedication.
His owner, Marsha Rogers, even crafted a special bell holder for the heartwarming moment when Quinn rang the "cancer survivor bell" at the hospital.
Quinn, a Golden Retriever, has been a beacon of comfort for hospital staff & patients throughout the pandemic. Despite facing his battle with lymphoma, his presence brought a sense of calm and joy during uncertain times.
The hospital's Director of Clinical Support, Tabitha Dixon, remarked, "We just knew that he was gonna beat this, and so it’s such a full circle moment for us here at Randolph Health."
Join us in celebrating Quinn's victory over cancer & his impactful role as a therapy dog.

@southenddogtraining1 3 Recall Tips #dogtok #pets #viralvideo #trending
Try these10 essential recall tips:
Master the Basics: Lay a strong foundation by ensuring your pooch responds reliably to basic commands like "come," "sit," and "stay."
Positive Reinforcement: Reward good behavior with treats, praise, or play. Make coming to you an irresistible experience for your furry friend.
Consistent Commands: Use the same recall command consistently. Whether it's "come," "here," or another word, stick to one to avoid confusion.
Play Engaging Games: Incorporate fun games into your training, like hide-&-seek or fetch, to make recall an enjoyable activity.
Gradual Distractions: Increase the difficulty gradually. Practice recall in various environments & situations, gradually introducing distractions.
Leash Training: Use a long leash in open spaces to give your dog freedom while maintaining control. Practice recall on the leash for safety.
Safe Environments: Begin training in a safe, enclosed area. As your dog becomes more reliable, progress to more challenging environments.
Avoid Negative Associations: Never scold your dog when they come to you, even if they took their time. You want them to associate "coming" with positivity.
Be Exciting: Make yourself more exciting than the distractions around. Use an animated and inviting tone to encourage your dog to come to you.
Consistent Practice: Regular, short training sessions are more effective than occasional long ones. Consistency is key to reinforcing recall behavior.
🐶FACT or FLUFF??...Answer. Fluff
Dogs have heightened senses, but not supernatural powers. They are very sensitive to cues.
(Hmmm. We think there may be some debate over this one🤔)
