šOK..NOW WHAT? (your Q & A)
How do I outsmart my bossy dog?

Look into my eyes, my will is your commandš.
Does your dog drive you a little crazy with their bossy behavior?
It can be frustrating when your pup is constantly seeking attention in ways that feel overwhelming.
They might be nudging you, barking, jumping, or dropping toys in your lap to play.
Other signs of bossiness include scratching at doors to be let outside, obsessively barking when they want something, grabbing your hand with their mouth, & even waking you up in the morning for a little extra love.
So, whatās behind this behavior? Dogs arenāt trying to be the boss, theyāve simply learned that being pushy gets them what they want. They may not realize that their actions are too demanding. So to help your pup, itās crucial to teach them to be less demanding.
Here are some tricks to turnaround your pooch when they get bossy:
Completely ignore 99% of pushy behaviorsāno touch, talk, or eye contact.
If your dog barks for food, ignore them until they are calm before feeding.
Keep special toys out of reach & only bring them out when you want to play.
Invite your dog onto your lap or couch instead of letting them jump up uninvited.
Wait for your dog to calm down before letting them out of their crate or onto the couch.
If you find yourself needing extra support, donāt hesitate to reach out to a professional for guidance.
With some patience & consistency, you can help your dog learn that being calm & patient is the way to go & thatās good for you & your pupās special bond.š„°

11 ways to stop the dangers of dog food gulping.

healthier eating & mental stimulation,,itās a win winš
š If your pup starts gobbling up their food faster than you can say "slow down" itās important to act on it. Eating too fast can lead to some serious health issues, like choking or tummy troubles.
A big worry is something called bloat. This happens when the stomach or intestines get too big & might twist around, which can be life-threatening & cause shock in no time. When dogs gobble down their food, they also swallow a lot of air, which makes the problem worse.
If you ever notice your dog looking bloated, itās super important to take them to the vet right away!
Luckily, there are some fun & easy ways to help your dog take it easy during mealtime & they can be mentally enriching too!
Here are 11 great ways to slow things down at dinner time.
Use a slow feeder bowl designed to make dogs eat more slowly.
Fill a puzzle toy with their food, so they have to work for it.
Hide food in a snuffle mat, making mealtime a fun scavenger hunt.
Split meals into smaller portions throughout the day to keep them from feeling too hungry.
Put a tennis ball in their bowl to block access to the food & force them to nudge it around.
Feed them using a muffin tināit turns their meal into a little game!
Spread kibble on a cookie sheet or a yoga mat so they have to pick it up piece by piece.
Hand-feed your dog to control their eating pace & itās a nice way to bond with them.
Add water to their food bowl to help slow them down as they eat.
Feed them in a quiet area away from other pets, so they can relax & enjoy their meal.
Visit the vet if they are underweight or seem too obsessive to check for any health problems that might be causing the rush.
With these tips, mealtimes can become calmer, safer & more enjoyable.
Giving your pooch a little extra time to savor their food helps prevent health issues & makes feeding time much more pleasant for you & your pup!

šDog ears back? Hereās 9 reasons why.

Adorable dog earsā¦a guide to their feelingsā¤
Have you ever noticed your pupās ears pulled back & wondered what it means?
Dogs communicate with their bodies, & their ears play a big role in showing how they feel. Understanding these signals can help you connect better with your dog.
Here are nine reasons why your dog might tuck those ears back.
Sadness: Dogs may pull their ears back when they feel sad, especially if their favorite person leaves.
Fear: When scared, dogs show it through their ears, body posture, & other signs like panting or avoiding eye contact.
Anxiety: If your dog feels nervous in certain situations, like during car rides or around loud noises, you'll see those ears back.
Appeasement: When dogs greet others, they might pull their ears back to show they mean no harm.
Danger: Dogs may pin their ears back when they sense danger to protect themselves from potential injury.
Courting: Male dogs might tuck their ears back as a way of courting a female they're interested in.
Pain: If a dog is hurt or unwell, you might notice those ears held back due to discomfort.
Listening: Sometimes dogs just need to listen better, especially to sounds coming from behind them.
Natural Position: Some dogs naturally have their ears in a pulled-back position based on their unique ear types.
Understanding these signals helps us better support our pups' emotional needs. Keep an eye on those ears, they have a lot to say!š¶
