OK..NOW WHAT? (your questions answered)
How do I know my dog has imprinted on me?

The delightful magic of the pooch dog parent bond 🥰

So you’re wondering if your dog has imprinted on you? Here are the top 10 signs to look out for 🧐:

  • Following you around: Your pooch sticks to you like glue.

  • Mirroring your behaviors: They tend to copy what you do.

  • Following your commands over others: Your doggo listens to you more than anyone else.

  • Checking in on you: They constantly want to be near you.

  • Seeking companionship & affection: Your pup craves your attention & love.

  • Maintaining eye contact: They gaze at you lovingly.

  • Snuggling with your belongings: Your scent brings comfort to them.

  • Reading your emotions: They can sense when you're happy or upset.

  • Taking care of you: Your furpal shows protective instincts towards you.

  • Hanging around your things: They feel at home near your stuff.

If your dog is showing most of these signs, it's highly likely that they have imprinted on you.

These signs in your pup show that you hold a special place in their heart but don’t feel the need to see all, as doggos with their unique personalities can differ in their expression.

Keep nurturing that beautiful connection🐶

Dogs have got more fun out of humans than humans have out of dogs, for humans are the more laughable of the two animals.

🌟Improving dogs aging with behavioral therapy.🐕

A precious pooch sharpens its mind with some balance & co-ordination exercises💪🏽

A recent study by researchers at Eötvös Loránd University delved into the world of elderly dogs to explore the benefits of mental activity & physical therapy on their behavior.

The results were pawsitively amazing! 🐶

The study involved a twelve-week course where elderly dogs aged eight years & older participated in different types of mentally challenging tasks & physiotherapy sessions.

These therapies aimed to improve the dogs' brain function (cognition) by engaging them in interactive games, balancing exercises using inflatable tools, & a combination of mental stimulation & physical activities.

The outcomes show that the therapy not only made older dogs friendlier & more flexible but also increased their curiosity & engagement with their environment.

They also show how important it is to act early against the effects of aging, as both younger & older dogs benefited from the therapy sessions & their bond with their owners was stronger.

The positive effects seen in the study highlight the value in having physical & brain boosting exercises in our daily routines at home & outside to slow down aging & enhance overall wellbeing for our pups...& us!

Let's keep those tails wagging & our minds sharp as we age together! 💗

PAWSE TO REMEMBER

Avoid leaving plastic bags in reach or where they could fall in reach. Dogs curiosity or scent attraction can lead to suffocation.
