Can dogs lie?

Who says they have us wrapped around their pawsš
Can dogs lie? Well our doggos may have a sneaky side to them according to recent research.
When faced with the opportunity to deceive for a tasty treat, dogs showed their cunning nature.
In a study conducted by researchers at the University of Zurich reviewed by Hillspet, dogs were found to lead a cooperative human towards a box of sausages rather than a competitive human.
This behavior suggests that dogs can indeed be deceptive if it benefits them.
While it's fascinating to think about our doggos possibly being little tricksters, it's important to remember that they are primarily honest creatures seeking love & attention.
Signs of deception in dogs may be subtle, & it's more likely that they are just trying to communicate their needs in the best way they know how.
Setting clear boundaries & showering them with love can help ensure a harmonious relationship where trust is key.
By providing a loving environment with clear guidelines, we can enjoy a fulfilling bond with our dogs without worrying about whether they might be telling a little white lie here & there.š¶ Learn more on the study here
